THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING ROTOCON® ROTARY ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS
ROTOCON® Slip Ring Installation Videos
Installing your ROTOCON is a simple process. Occasionally we get questions from new customers (and even existing ones with new or innovative applications) asking what are the best ways to ensure an optimal installation process, so we’ve compiled a few helpful tips to get your ROTOCON Slip Ring Assembly up and running the right way, the first time.
As always, if you have questions or concerns of any kind, contact us, our engineers will be happy to assist you in properly installing your ROTOCON®
INSTALLING YOUR ROTOCON ERG-SERIES HIGH CURRENT ROTARY GROUND CLAMP
This video shows installation and best practices when installing your ROTOCON ERG-Series, high current rotary ground clamp. Meridian Laboratory’s full lineup of single contact, high current rotary ground clamps provide a consistent, maintenance-free contact unaffected by RPM or total number of revolutions. Contrary to conventional brushed rotary grounds, Meridian Laboratory’s ERG-Series are arc-free, do not have internal friction, and do not require greasing or any type of maintenance.
INSTALLING YOUR ROTOCON ERGT-SERIES, HIGH CURRENT THROUGH-BORE ROTARY GROUND
This video shows best practices when installing your ROTOCON ERGT-Series, through-hole rotary ground. Meridian Laboratory’s full lineup of single contact, high current rotary ground clamps provide a consistent, maintenance-free contact unaffected by RPM or total number of revolutions. Contrary to conventional brushed rotary grounds, Meridian Laboratory’s ERGT-Series are arc-free, do not have internal friction, and do not require greasing or any type of maintenance.
INSTALLING YOUR ROTOCON MXT-SERIES THROUGH-HOLE SLIP RING
This video shows best practices when installing your ROTOCON MXT-Series, through-hole slip ring. Meridian Laboratory’s MXT-Series are designed for applications which require mounting on solid or hollow shafts. Like all other ROTOCON rotating electrical contacts, remains unaffected by machine vibration or rotational speed, throughout its entire RPM range.
INSTALLING YOUR ROTOCON (M-SERIES) END-OF-SHAFT OR BODY-MOUNT SLIP RING
This video shows best practices when installing your ROTOCON M-Series, end-of-shaft slip ring. Meridian Laboratory’s M-Series are available in different capacities capable of providing power and signals up to 100 contacts, and up to 35A/contact. These high-performance slip rings remain unaffected by speed, provide clean and noise-free electrical signals, and require zero maintenance.
