Meridian Laboratory hosts record-breaking food drive for Middleton WayForward Resources!
At Meridian Laboratory, we are committed to making a positive impact on the community we live and work in. Giving back is at the core of our values, and we believe in actively supporting local organizations that make a difference for our community.
In December 2024, our employees donated over 700 items to our annual end-of-year food drive, benefiting Middleton WayForward Resources. Meridian Laboratory matched each donation, resulting in more than 1,400 total items and 1,234 pounds of food. Thanks to the generosity of our employees, this marks the third consecutive year we’ve set a new record for the most pounds donated during a food drive for WayForward Resources.
This year’s contribution will help families throughout Dane County by providing nutritious meals to those in need. To date, Meridian Laboratory has donated 4,581 pounds of food to Middleton WayForward Resources. We are proud to support such a vital local organization.

What is Middleton WayForward Resources?
Middleton WayForward Resources, formerly known as Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM), has served our community since 1980. Originally, it was founded by local churches and faith-based organizations, but it became a community-based nonprofit in 2007. Since then, the organization has built strong partnerships with businesses, foundations, and individuals to make a lasting impact on the community.
The mission of Middleton WayForward Resources is to create a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Through a network of generous supporters, they provide services such as food, clothing, housing assistance, school supplies, holiday meals and more.
In 2024 alone, Middleton WayForward Resources served over 13,000 people and provided more than 1.3 million meals. They operate a food pantry open five days a week. Their food delivery services and mobile food pantry are available for those who are unable to visit the pantry. They also run a free clothing center, open four days a week, ensuring families have access to essential items. Their housing stability program helps families stay in their homes, preventing homelessness, and providing security during times of crisis.
Middleton WayForward Resources is an amazing example of what can be accomplished when a community comes together. We are proud to support such an incredible organization, and we look forward to continuing to partner with them to make a difference in our community.

Meridian Laboratory and our employees are dedicated to improving our community in every way we can.
