Meridian Laboratory’s ROTOCON ERGT-800 rotary ground is designed to mount at the end of a workpiece and features a hole in the center to allow for the passage of weld shielding gases and mediums through the center.  Available with or without a rotary gas union combined to the rotary ground, they provide a rotating ground circuit alongside welding shield gas to rotary turntables, frame welding positioners, and other rotational welding applications.  For applications which do not require a rotary union, check out our full lineup of rotary grounds.

ROTOCON rotary grounds are widely used in rotary welding cells, rotary plating processes, and other high current applications which require a rotary ground.  While called a rotary ground, they can be used for either the power (positive) or the return (ground) circuit without any change in performance or longevity.

ROTOCON rotary grounds provide a low resistance electrical ground path which provides stable and consistent current delivery with no changes or fluctuation in amperage over time regardless of orientation, total revolutions, or instantaneous speed.  All ROTOCON rotary grounds are environmentally sealed and use robust and corrosion resistant materials that ensure a long service life without the maintenance and grease required by conventional, metal-on-metal rotary ground manufacturers such as Tweco, Lenco, Sumner, and others.
